Today I am grateful for stars.
I can see stars in Eugene, but not nearly as many as I can see in Brookings. I'm not a astronomer, not even an amateur one, but I love star gazing. Going home always reminds me, as I can see probably 100 times more stars from my little town.

Not only I am grateful for the stars as well, but I'm appreciative of the fact that you've engaged in this project! (Maybe one day soon you'll be grateful for postcards from Chicago...but who can say) And remember, when it comes to contemplating the celestial, everyone is an amateur.
